"Rehab" is a general term used to describe the process of restoring strength and function to joints, muscles and movement patterns. The two biggest contributing factors to non-traumatic orthopedic dysfunction are inhibited range-of-motion & muscle weakness.

We use a straightforward 3-step process to identify the source of orthopedic dysfunction and rehabilitate movement:

Step 1: Assessment
We begin with an orthopedic assessment and movement screen to identify static and dynamic posture, add a structural balance strength test to gauge the relative strength and weakness of affected muscles and perform manual muscle testing to specify muscles that may need additional support.

Step 2: Improve Range-of-Motion
We utilize Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) a unique, complete and complementary system of table-based, assisted stretching focusing on the fascia as the key element in achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief. FST combines a stretch wave with traction to access the deepest level of fascia – the joint capsule. Clinical studies have shown that this form of stretching can increase flexibility by up to 52% in just one session.

Step 3: Improve Strength
We use the results of the orthopedic assessment to design a strength-training program to strengthen weak muscles, improve movement patterns and maintain the improved range-of-motion provided by the FST.
